Blue Greyhound
Blue is a beautiful blue ex-racing greyhound who is spayed, inoculated, microchiped and has recently had a dental. She is a sweet girl who has a lovely nature and enjoys a cuddle. She walks lovely on the lead and travels well in the car.

Went to her new home on Monday 24th June 2013.
Blue's Diary

* The branch kennel at the bottom of our garden is where Blue and the other resident(s) will be for the first day or so until she gets to know the other greyhounds. She has use of our garden and paddock, and once she gets to know the other dogs she will be allowed in the house during the day and all the dogs will then take it in turn to sleep in the house at night, so they become use to sleeping in both the kennel and the house.

18th June 2013
It was a lovely day today so we took some photos of Blue in our garden. At first she wasn't too sure about what was happening, but she soon relaxed.
23rd June 2013
With Troy and Rian arriving today and going in the kennel we decided to let Blue sleep in the house tonight. She's been coming in the house during the day for a while now so took it all in her stride.
24th June 2013
Blue was good last night and we never heard a peep from her until this morning when she was up with the others wanting to go in the garden to do their toilet.
This afternoon Blue's new owner called in to complete all the adoption paperwork, purchase a house collar and a walking-outdoor coat and take Blue home with her. When she arrived Blue remembered her and cuddled into her on a number of occassions while we were talking.
Stuart removed Blue spaying stitches all but one. The one in the middle didn't look quite ready so we thought it best to leave it a couple of more days or so, and arrangements made for this last one to be removed.
When it was time to leave Blue happily walked down the drive with her new owner and jumped in the back of her car. I will miss Blue looking at me with those wonderful eyes of hers and those adorable cuddles she used to give as she lay her head on you asking for affection. Blue is a lovely dog and will make an adorable companion for her new owner, so we wish them a long and happy life together.
26th June 2013
We heard today that Blue is settling in fine and today she went to get registered with her vet who took that last stitch out. While there she met some other dogs whom she ignored.
18th December 2013
This morning we received a Christmas card from Blue's new owner thanking us for finding her, her lovely dog.
