Black Greyhound
Jamie is a handsome black ex-racing greyhound who was born in September 2008 and weighs 31.9k.
Jamie is neutered, inoculated and microchipped. A friendly lad who loves leaning against you and being stroked. He has a lovely temperament, but can sometimes pull a little on the lead when he first starts his walk. This can be put down to excitement, and he soon settles. He travels well in a car, but is not cat friendly.

Jamie's Diary
* The branch kennel at the bottom of our garden is where Jamie and the other resident(s) will be for the first day or so until he gets to know the other greyhounds. He has use of our garden and paddock, and once he gets to know the other dogs he will be allowed in the house during the day and all the dogs will then take it in turn to sleep in the house at night, so they become use to sleeping in both the kennel and the house.

12th September 2013
This afternoon Darkie arrived, and although he knows his name we thought it best in this day and age to change it. Darkie is quite a common name in the black dog greyhound world, but not outside. After much thought we decided upon Jamie because it ends the same as Darkie, and it suits him.
We put a muzzle on him and introduced him to Ryan and Dee Dee who he will be with in the kennel. All went well, but we will keep his muzzle on for a while yet until we are sure they have got to know each other and all is okay.
16th September 2013
This morning Jamie went to the vet to be neutered and he weighed in at 31.9k. All went well with the operation and after he's slept things off for a while we went to collect him in the afternoon and brought him home.
25th September 2013
This afternoon the family who chose to re-home both Jamie and Brody came to complete the adoption paperwork and take them home with them. Everything complete and off they went to their new home where we hope they will both have a long and happy life together with their new family.
12th May 2014
This afternoon we received an email with a photo of Jamie and Brody sitting on their settee at home looking well and very happy.
