Black Greyhound
Aero is large a black ex-racing greyhound who was born on the 12th May 2008. He measures 31" to his shoulders and weighs in the region of 37k, He is neutered, inoculated microchipped, and recently had a dental where 7 teeth were removed.
Aero is a happy, friendly giant who walks okay on the lead, is fine with children, was friends with his ex-owner's Shitzu, and travels well in the car.

Went to his new home on Sunday 13th April 2014.
Aero's Diary
* The branch kennel at the bottom of our garden is where Aero and the other resident(s) will be for the first day or so until he gets to know the other greyhounds. He has use of our garden and paddock, and once he gets to know the other dogs he will be allowed in the house during the day and all the dogs will then take it in turn to sleep in the house at night, so they become use to sleeping in both the kennel and the house.

14th March 2014
This morning Aero went to the vets to be neutered and have his first inoculation because he arrived here without any confirmation paperwork that they were up to date. All went well with his operation and he's to have his stitches removed in about 10 days time.
26th March 2014
Molly and Aero came in the house for the day today and didn't want to go back in the kennel this evening.
28th March 2014
This morning Aero took a trip to the vet for his second inoculation, which now brings them up to date.
13th April 2014
This afternoon we took Aero over to see a retired couple who recently lost their big blue greyhound. Aero was the perfect gentleman, so all the adoption paperwork was completed and when we left Aero remained. The couple love the big greyhounds and we are sure Aero will have a long and happy life with his new family in his new home.
28th May 2014
We heard today that Aero has settled in lovely, he's good with other dogs and is getting quite a fan club when out walking because he loves to greet and say hello to everyone. He doesn't chase cats who he sees while out walking, just stands still and watches them - his owner says that's a bit different to Hamish who they had before, because he used to pull his owner into hedges after a cat!
His new owner says all the family love him, he loves cuddles and is very good in the living room at night, giving them a lovely welcome when they come down in the morning.
