Kes's arrival and a brief history

Kes (Tess) is a lovely black greyhound who will be 2 years old in August. She weighs 25k and has been living in a home with 2 cats and a baby. Sadly the family are moving house and are unable to take Kes (Tess) with them hence her coming into rescue. She is a lovely little girl who has just been spayed, is inoculated and house trained.

Kes's Diary

9th August 2015
This afternoon Kes, now called Tess was adopted by her new family. All the paperwork complete and off she went to her new home where we hope she will have a long and happy life.
This evening we received an email saying:
"Got her home, she's had a wee In the garden. We absolutely love her already, she's so quiet with girls as you can see!
16th August 2015
We received an email today letting us know that Tess is well and her new owners are absolutely besotted with her. She has settled in really well and is really well behaved in the house. She has been fine when they have been leaving her, no accidents.
They say she's so good with the girls, Esther just puts her arm over her back and leans on her and she stands perfectly still for her. Using the two leads idea has been great because they both argue over who holds her.
Not sure if she's been used to stairs, she ventured up yesterday but couldn't come down, so her new owner had to carry her!
She apparently completely ignored Mable the cat. Mable took the huff and lived upstairs for two days, but she's now back on her bean bag and they just basically completely ignore each other, maybe they will become friends in time!
Her new owners say she really is perfect apart from she needs a little training on the recall which they are on with.
