Lark is a black ex-racing greyhound who was born on the 10th June 2015. He is cat trainable, neutered, inoculated, microchipped, weighs about 27 kg. and walks nicely on the lead.

Went to his new home with Babe on Saturday 25th February 2017.

Lark's Diary
18th February 2017
When Lark arrived we put a house coat on him for warmth and put him in the kennel due to the number of dogs already in the house. Lark is cat trainable and came here already potentially reserved. He had been neutered, microchipped and inoculated prior to his arrival so he was already to go off to a new home.
19th February 2017
This afternoon a couple who have a cat came to see Lark with a view to adopting him or Babe. However, once they saw them they asked if they could re-home both and arrangements were made for them to come and adopt them the following Saturday. Lark is still very friendly when he meets people and wants to jump up, however, he doesn't touch you with his feet but rests his front legs either side of your body - a sure sign he's been told to stop jumping up in the past. As he is so friendly he's learn't how to achieve what he wants without his feet touching you - clever boy!
23rd February 2017
I think with Lark not being in the house I've found it harder to feed him with the others because he's still eating his food so fast and diving into the others. With there being three dogs in the kennel, two of whom eat much slower and Lark being so fast and wanting to eat the others food as well as his own Stuart has been coming to help me sort them out as there wasn't a way of splitting two dogs away and leaving the third thinking it wasn't going to get anything.
25th February 2017
This afternoon Lark's new owners called in to collect him and Babe to take home with them and Lark's name is being changed to Jet. Not having been in the house before and being in the kennel all morning due to the bad weather they went a little crazy once in the conservatory. As I'd anticipated this excitement we completed all the paperwork before I brought them in so all that was needed was a new collar each and off they went with their new owners. Both dogs who were keen to go for a walk, quickly settled down and walked nicely on the lead to their new owner's car, and off to their new home where we hope they will have a long and happy life.
